I thank my God

I've been studying Philippians lately and I really love it. My favorite part is the first chapter. "I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. It is right for me to feel this way about you, since I have you in my heart... God can testify how I long for you with the affection of Christ Jesus." (verses 3-8) I have been so blessed to have so many people in my life who I can truly say I thank God for every time I remember them and pray with joy for them. It is so wonderful to have people who are in partnership with me in the gospel. And how could you not rejoice in the knowledge that God has begun a good work in us and He will see it through. We are never abandoned. Sometimes I think I take them for granted, but I am so thankful for so many wonderful friends who encourage me every single day. I am so blessed.

"My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant... for the Mighty One has done great things for me- holy is His name!" Luke 1:46-48
