Spring Break!

So it has been almost a month since I have even had 5 minutes to write on this thing, so we're going to just have many posts of updates! :) Beginning with spring break.

I'm 20! woo hoo! It's weird. I feel old for the first time in my life. But the beach was the greatest birthday present ever :) We left at about 5 am on Saturday... after Baileigh and I only slept for 2 hours. We got there around lunch time and had the afternoon on the beach... until it started raining. And it rained off and on for the whole first half of the week. We spent most mornings on the beach in our sweatshirts, but the end of the week was beautiful and we got a lot of sun and had so much fun! :)

The weekend after I got back, I worked a Disciple Now at Hebron Baptist with my friend Kristin. It was part of the Student Life tour called "Live Love" where Kristian Stanfill led worship and Francis Chan was the speaker. I have had the privildge to hear Francis Chan speak twice now, and he is incredible! (he also had a wonderful book called Crazy Love that everyone really should read). Kristin and I had 12 sixth grade girls, and had our hands full to say the least. They were crazy and wild and a lot of the stuff was way over their heads, but it was a wonderful weekend and I am so glad that I agreed to work with her. God did a work in both of our hearts that weekend as well and I know that a seed was planted in our girls' hearts, even if we never see the results.
